Sakura, the fine dining Japanese restaurant of the Taj Palace Hotel
Dubai, presents a culinary experience from the mystical Oriental way
of life. There are three teppanyaki tables at the restaurant where diners
watch as the Japanese chef prepares seafood, meat and vegetables are
cooked in showmanship. Guests can savour tempura, sushi, sashimi, teriyaki
and a wide selection of deep fried and broiled seafood dishes. Sakura's
sous chef, Frank Padua, trained in the fine art of teppanyaki cooking
from an international chain specializing in this art transforms your
casual dining Japanese fare into artsy display of vegetable tossing
and catching.
Verdi:
Verdi,
the Italian restaurant of the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, offers a wide
selection of 41 different kinds of pizzas with all kinds of toppings
imaginable as well as fresh pasta, risotto, rice dishes and anti pasti
buffet and Italian desserts.
Topkapi: Topkapi,
the first five star Turkish restaurant which opened 19th of September
2001 in Dubai, will offer food connoisseurs authentic Turkish delicacies
such as stuffed eggplant cooked in olive oil, pickled vine leaf or fish
fillet wrapped in persimmon paper and cooked in earthenware dish. Topkapi,
a name derived from the famous Topkapi Palace in Bhosporus, Turkey seats
78 diners in a cozy atmosphere. Decorated in the traditional Turkish
architecture, portrayed on the walls is the ancient map of Ottoman Turkey.
Cafer Aral, the Turkish chef, said cultural ambience from Turkey would
be evidently felt in the restaurant as Topkapi was specially created
with the inspiration of everything Turkish in mind.
Handi:
To dine at Handi, the Indian restaurant of the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai,
is to relive the regal elegance of the Mughal period in India with its
ornate wooden decor and tandoori ovens. Handi celebrates the cuisine
of the various regions of India from North to South, but most specially
those of Lucknow and Madhya Pradesh. Handi can accommodate 72 people
and has special rooms for families. It also has a large selection of
lassies, fruit juices and cocktails and Indian sweets.
Le
Rendezvous: Our all-day dining restaurant coffeeshop is serving
international cuisines by a La Carte or buffet with special theme night
buffet. Le Rendezvous is located on the mezzanine floor
