| The Eurasian culinary extravaganza Like the hotel itself, Ascot’s restaurants are authentic, elegant and personal. On offer is a choice of classical cuisines from across Europe and Asia, prepared by native chefs who are masters of their trade and served in accordance with traditional customs. Whether you are looking to relax over a drink or two or seeking an authentic gastronomic experience, you’ll always find something at the Ascot to tantalize your palate. More Next DoorApart from the restaurants at the Ascot, our guests have easy access to more bars and restaurants at the Royal Ascot, our affiliate hotel right next door. The Eurasian culinary adventure continues with an Indian restaurant, an authentic Korean restaurant, Dae Jang Kum, and the two other restaurants of the Royal Ascot. For those looking for something more contemporary, there’s always West End – the coffee shop, or the lounge bar of the Royal Ascot – Wellington’s. Yakitori - A local favorite for Sushi and Sashimi, Yakitori brings the flavor of Japan to Dubai with all its nuances intact. Served with full ceremony on the customary bamboo plates, each type of fish is matched with its own traditional sauce, prepared under the watchful eye of master chef Takahashi himself. What’s more, the chef will gladly customize the preparation to suit the individual tastes and preferences of each guest. And of course, no meal at Yakitori is complete without saké – the traditional rice wine. From the chilled ‘Namazake’ to the warm ‘Kan’, all saké is imported straight from the shores of Japan. Troyka - Visit Troyka not for a Russian meal, but for a Russian experience. In the tradition of cooking for the czars, master chef Dmitri and his team serve up authentic Russian fare amidst folk music and good cheer. To Russians, good cheer is of course synonymous with vodka! And nothing short of genuine Russian vodka imported from home will do. Add to this a live performance by our very own troupe and you have the recipe for a perfect fun-filled evening. Come to Troyka for the quintessential Russian experience of savoring borsch and traditional salted herring along with a bottle of fine Gzhelka while watching the Troyka troupe perform to the folk tunes of Kalinka and Podmoskovnye Vechera.
Waxy O’Connor’s - After a long day, even the busiest business traveler will appreciate the opportunity to unwind with a drink or two at Waxy O’Connor’s. If you know the Irish, you will know that they take their lager very seriously indeed. In classic Irish fashion, may we recommend starting with a pint of Guinness – the finest stout in the world! Up next is Bailey’s on crushed ice... Of course if beer or Irish cream is not your drink, the bartender will gladly mix a variety of popular cocktails blended to perfection. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, talk to the bartender and he will concoct some fine exotic potions for you to delight in. Thai Connection - When it comes to the perfect harmony of the fundamental flavors – hot (spicy), sour, sweet and salty – nothing compares with the food of Thailand. Inspired by Indian and Chinese curries, the Thai’s have given their cuisine a unique twist with the enthusiastic use of herbs, spices and lemongrass. Savor the rich aromatic recipes prepared by our chefs to perfection. The experience of feasting on Tom Yam soup and Jasmine rice is one you will remember long after you have finished your meal. If you are a noodle lover, you have to try our Pad Thai to appreciate the tangy flavors of Thailand. Waxy’s Little Restaurant - If you’re in the mood for a delicious meal in a casual setting, consider dropping into Waxy’s Little Restaurant. We serve popular favorites such as fish ‘n’ chips and the sumptuous club sandwich alongside a selection of various main courses. We also invite you to try authentic local dishes such as colcannon and Irish stew or the daily specials. If you are looking to grab a quick bite on the go, you’ll find a selection of fast food like pasta and sandwiches on the menu.
