As well as constructing an architectural marvel, the designers of Burj Al Arab have fine-tuned its operation to create a hotel that offers the very best in service and facilities to all guests.

Individual service and personal attention are paramount, with a private reception on every floor, as well as a butler service for every one of the 202 duplex suites.

The suites themselves have been exquisitely crafted and appointed to achieve a degree of comfortable luxury that aims to satisfy the senses of every guest, from all corners of the world.

The very finest materials have been sourced from around the globe, each adding a strand to the complex tapestry of a hotel operation that surpasses any other in the region.

The beautiful Azul Bahia granite has been imported from Brazil, while Stycharario marble from Carrara covers walls and floors - the very same stone from which Michaelangelo created his sculpture masterpieces- and mosaic tiles,which are used to create vivid throughout the hotel, contain rare Sicis glass, found only from one source in northern Italy.

And, of course, only the very finest-weave Irish linen clothes the beds. It is not only in the quality of the materials, but also the finesse of the interior design that elevates the suites of Burj Al Arab to new pinnacles of excellence.

Suites names reflect the romance of the Arabian nights, inspired by opulence and splendour of precious stones and gems such as Feyrouz, Zabarjad, Zumurud, Yakuta,Malakeet and lazawerd.

Within the welcoming ambience and luxurious fittings of every suites lies hidden a network of technological wizardly, fueling a sophisticated multi- media system that provides the largest selection of satellite television channels available in the Middle East.

Also provided is a video-on-demand system, offering a wide array of filmed entertainment, all of which can be enjoyed in surround- sound stereo on a wide screen 42-inch plasma television in the lounge.

An equally advanced sound system extends throughout the Suites while other inter-active tools for business and entertainment offer options for browsing the internet, shopping on-line and access to numerous other services and information resources.

Convenience, luxury and a highly-personalised service are available for every guest, whether staying in one of the 164 one-bedroom duplex suites - at 170 square metres in size - or in any of the 28, two-bedroom suites, or six suites housing three bedrooms.

Topping them all are the two Grand Suites and two Special Suites spread over 780 square metres, each with palatial surroundings set on two floors joined by a private elevator. These reach unsurpassed peaks of luxury, including rotating beds, private cinema, Majlis and even dressing rooms larger than the average hotel bedroom.
