Mae Hong Sorn Day Trip

After breakfast, catch the earliest flight to Mae Hong Sorn, land of mists. Nestled in a deep valley and hemmed in by high mountain ranges, this mystical town is virtually covered in mist all year round. On arrival, you will be met by a guide and transferred to the pier for an exhilarating 45 minutes boat trip along the Pai river, to visit the exotic "Padong Long Neck Hilltribe". The womenfolk wear brass rings around their necks and it is the custom to add a ring on, each year. Return back to Mae Hong Sorn where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit 4 beautiful Myanmar style temples: Wat Jongkam, Wat Jongklang, Wat Doi Kong Moo and Wat Hao Wieng. From the top of Wat Doi Kong Moo, a superb view of town and the surrounding countryside can be seen. Transfer back to Mae Hong Sorn airport and take the late flight back to Chiangmai. ( For some clients, take the connecting flight to Bangkok ).
