1. Passage Restrictions

• Passage for pregnant women will only be permitted before their 24th week of pregnancy and must be accompanied by a doctor's medical certificate stating they are fit to travel on sea.
• Star Cruises reserves the right to refuse embarkation to any passenger whose medical conditon is not made known to Star Cruises during reservations or prior to sailing and shall not be required to refund any portion of fare paid

2. Vaccinations

• At the current time, no vaccinations are compulsory for any Star Cruises destinations. However, your clients may to consult their doctors to make sure that the their immunisation records are up-to-date.

3. Currency

• Most major foreign currencies are accepted on board the cruise at prevailing exchange rates. All our services and prices are listed in Singapore Dollars.
• Limited Exchange Services are available from the Reception Desk on board. However, it is recommended that passengers exchange money in Sinapore prior to boarding.

4. Credit Cards & Traveller Cheques

• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB and American Express. Your clients may, however, have to pay an additional fee to obtain the necessary authorisation by satellite phone should the amount exceeds our house limit.
• We also accept travellers cheques, but not personal cheques.

5. Luggage

• For their own convenience, we recommend that each passenger brings aboard not more than two suitcases (up to a maximum of 50kg per person) and one item of hand baggage. These must fit comfortably in their cabin, as no baggage will be stored in the ship's hold

6. What To Pack

• With average year-round temperatures of about 30 degrees Celsius, we recommend that your clients pack lightweight summer clothes, with a light sweater or jeacket for air-conditioned interiors.
• For shore visits, casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are appropriate . Visits to mosques and temples may require them to wear a hat or scarf. Of course, a swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion and a beach towel is a must. They should bring sportswear or gym gear if they are planning to play golf or work out, and definitely a camera and lots of film.
• Onboard cruise, elegant casual dress is suitable for most occasions. For gala nights on board however, a lounge suit or jecket and tie for men, and a cocktail dress for ladies are necessary. It is preferred that shorts not be worn in any of food and beverage outlets. Proper footwear must be worn in all public places and on the pool deck. Facilities are available on the pool deck for passengers to change into their swimwear.

7. Insurance

• You clients may enjoy our grounp insurance coverage while they are aboard the ship. However, we recommend that they purchase their own travel insurance policies if they wish for additional coverage.
