Location :
The Regent Singapore is located in Orchard Spring, the tip of Singapore's prime tourist and shopping belt, Orchard Road. It is adjacent to prime residential districts, alongside embassies and just a five minute walk from the tranquil Botanic Gardens. The hotel is only a 30-minute taxi ride form Changi International Airport.

Accommodation :
All 441 spacious guest rooms , including 48 suites which have private balconies, feature unique interior decor reflecting Southeast Asia's rich heritage. Non-smoking rooms are also available.

Features & Amenities :
All rooms have three international direct dial telephones (located at the beside, desk and bathroom), refrigerator and mini bar, radio, colour TV offering HBO and CNN international channels as well as a selection of in-house movies. All our Deluxe Rooms and Suites are equipped with two-line telephones capable of interfacing with computers. In-room safe provide terry robes and slippers, thick absorbent towers, hairdryers, Japaneses yukatas and a full range of quality Regent toiletries.
Art & Artefacts :
Carefully integrated as part of the hotel surroundings is a collection of thoughtfully sourced art pieces and atrfacts which not only reflect Singapore's diversity of cultures, but which also reminds one of the island nation's unique history. The hotel is proud to house the largest private art collection of antiques and artfacts in Singapore.
The Gift Shop :
The Regent Gift Shop is located on the fist level of the hotel and features local and South-east Asian handicrafts, cultural artfacts, atrworks, souvenirs, clothing, books, newspapers, magazines and small personal items. The shop is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, including public holidays.
The Pastry Shop :
Our pastry shop is open daily and offers a large variety of sumptuous cakes, pastries and breads freshly baked in our very own patisserie.
Food & Beverage Outlets :
Summer Palace. Our Chinese restaurant offers Cantonese gourmet cuisine in a tasteful, elegant setting. Our classic dishes are prepared by a team of Hong Kong chefs who take pride in serving authentic Cantonese dishes. The restaurant can seat 168, with private dining rooms available for parties and special occasions.
Capers. This all-day cafe serves up an eclectic mix of Asian delights and Western favorites. There is also an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, which makes for pleasant al fresco dining. The cafe can hold 244 people, with additional seating for 20 at the poolside terrace.

The Bar.
Voted "one of the world's best bars" by Newsweek magazine, this is the place to take in classic jazz acts in an inviting and comfortable setting. Ethnic prints on the walls, muted tones and plush sofas set the mood. The Bar is an ideal venue for both business and pleasure. Seating capacity: 100.

The Tea Lounge. Surrounding by bookshelves filled with classic and contemporary literature, this is the ideal place for a spot of English tea or an evening cocktail. Complementing the unique selection of fine teas blended specially for The Regent are gourmet sandwiches and freshly baked pastries. In addition to the traditional English tea, a selection of light Asian and Western snacks are also served. The Tea Lounge seats up to 50 persons comfortably.

Sport & Fitness Facilities :
Swimming Pool. An attractively landscaped pool area offers full food and beverage service throughout the day.
Fitness Centre. We have a gymnasium with Cybex weight-training machines, aerobic machines, as well as a steambath and spa facilities. Our trained and attentive staff can help come up with a special programme designed to meet specific needs. Treat yourself to a full-body massage, be it Shiatsu, Indonesian or Aromatherapy. Qualified masseuses are available from noon to 8 p.m. daily. Massage services outside the stipulated hours can be arranged in advance.

Golf and tennis games can be arranged through the Concierge, and the hotel's quiet, green surroundings offer numerous scenic jogging routes.

Room Service :
Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to all in-house guests. A selection from each of our restaurants is offered in our Room Service Menu.

Ballroom & Conference Facilities :
Royal Pavilion Ballroom
. Our elegant ballroom can accommodate 650 people theatre-style, or 500 people for a banquet.

Tanglin I, II, III & IV. Each of these function rooms can hold 40 people for a banquet.

Cuscaden Room
. Holds 70 people theatre-style, or 60 people for a banquet.

Boardrooms II & III. Seating capacity: 80 theatre-style, or 80 for a banquet.

Our experienced sales and catering team can custom-design menus and decor, as well as handle all requirements for your social and business events. Full audio-visual equipment is available upon request.

Business Centre :
The Regent Business Centre is open seven days a week, including public holidays. It offers a full range of support services, such as professional secretarial services, a photocopying machine, cable/telex/fax, internet access, word processing, a business reference library as well as the use of personal computers. An office and a meeting room for up to six people is also available.

Climate :
Located just 2 degrees north of the Equator, Singapore enjoys warm, tropical weather that is relatively calm and consistent throughout the year. The average daily temperature is 26.7 deg Celsius (about 80 deg Fahrenheit), with a menu temperature of 30.8 deg Celsius (89 Fahrenheit) occurring in the afternoons and a minimum of 23.8 deg Celsius (75 deg Fahrenheit) just before dawn.

Rainfall is most abundant during the North-east monsoon season from November to January. Much of the rain falls in sudden showers. February is usually the sunniest month. The hottest months are July and August, when average temperatures are at their peak.

Voltage :
220-240 volts AC, 50 cycles per second. Transformers are available for guests who need to convert the voltage to 110-120 volts, cycles per second.

Immigration :
Visas are generally not required for social visits of under 14 days, and tourists are given a 14-days social visit pass upon arrival. If there is a need to extend your stay, you may apply to the Immigration Department after arrival.

Entry visas are required for visitors from Afghanistan, Algeria, Cambodia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia, Vietnam and Yemen.

Visa-free entry is available to citizens of Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Holders of Russian Federation passports as well as passports issued by the governments of Afghanistan, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam may transit in Singapore for a maximum of 36 hours without a visa, provided they hold confirmed onward/return bookings to their next destination.

Immigration :
Holders of People's Republic of China passports may similarly transit in Singapore without visas, for a maximum of 48 hours.

Visa-free entry is permitted to citizens of other countries for stays ranging between 14 and 90 days.
