Restaurants & Bars

The resort has several innovative bars and restaurants including Thanying which features a menu of contemporary Royal Thai cuisine designed by Thai celebrity chef Charlie Amatayakul, Shutters for all-day modern intercontinental dining and Si Bon a unique, boutique dining experience in a converted chapel serving the Japanese delicacy of Kushiakatsu or deep fried skewers; the first of its kind in Singapore. A separate Beach House featuring two more restaurants opens at the end of 2007.

Shutters
The resort's elegantly chic restaurant serves contemporary Asian and Western signature dishes.

Thanying
An award-winning Thai restaurant reowned for its exceptional service and authentic contemporary Royal Thai Cuisine.

Si Bon
An exquisite Japanese restaurant in oldest chapel on the island. It offers exceptionally high-quality deep-fried skewered Japanese cuisine called Kushikatsu, for just 13 guests indoors and 10 outdoor at any one time. A first in Singapore !

A chic bar with its own outdoor herb garden.

Upper Tiers
A signature bar that offers some of the best concocted cocktails on the island.

The Beach House at Palawan (Opening last quarter of 2007)
Amara Sanctuary Resort also operates its own Beach House at Palawan. The area features a beach bar and Silk Road of the Sea, a contemporary seafood restaurant highlighting cuisine from Northern and Southern China which Marco Polo encourtered on his return journey to Venice in the 13th century.
