I have mixed feelings about the reception, my check in was not greeted by the front desk, I had to ask for attention. But when I asked for information on a different day, the reception was warm and helpful. showers in the room leaked and was not fixed even when problem was reported. I think it is a hotel trying their best but pending on the personnel, one will get different experience.

The hotel is very new and so are the amenities. At the price that I got, I think its a deal. :-) Also, it is located at the heart of Makati where I can go to Eastwood and Greenbelt area in a breeze.

The St. Giles Hotel was disappointing. The room was small, the floor unkept, the shower and bathroom are 2star at best. Overall, we were disappointed and do not recommend the hotel to anyone. The City Garden Makati is next door and offers business and international guests a higher quality product and service for similar money. The City Garden also provides a lovely pool on the top floor with a commanding view of the Makati skyline.
