| 5/5 | Mr. MONDOU, Canada Oct 2010 | | Sea wind hotel is located in station 1 where the white sand beach is without any hesitation the best. We chose this hotel because of its location without expecting much about the hotel itself. Our transfer from Caticlan airport was organized by the hotel and went as smooth as it could possibly be. Upon our arrival the front desk efficiently handled our prepaid reservation and gave us the keys to our room even though we arrived early, about 2 hours before regular check in time. We had a ground floor deluxe room in the main building very very close to the beach and other amenities. The room was spacious, furnished with taste and very clean. I'd like to insist on the cleanliness of the room since it was maintained that clean for the whole duration of our stay by the Sea wind employees. Amenities are also very well maintained and we appreciated that this hotel tries to keep a balance between concrete building and vegetation. All the employees of the hotel with no exception were nice and ready to help without any hesitation. We think these people are what makes this hotel a nice place to stay, they are here whenever you need them and they are still leaving you some "space" so you can enjoy a quiet and hassle free stay which was what we were looking for. The hotel is filipino owned and the hotel style from bedroom to amenities is filipino inspired. Pikoy's the hotel restaurant serves a variety of filipino dishes. The food served and service are both excellent! Prices are also quite fair and if you crave for filipino food there's no need to look much further than Pikoy's. The filipino style free breakfast was the weakest point of our stay, it could have been better with more choices and better quality dishes. We did not understood why there was such a difference between the breakfast dishes and what is served by Pikoy's. The hotel is located just about 15 minutes of walk on the beach or 5 minutes tricycle from D'Mall and other night life establishments. We appreciated the quietness of the hotel itself, no night noises even if the busy road is quite close.
Conclusion: Sea wind is an hotel where we will definitely go back. This hotel offer a good ratio price versus quality.
