STANDARD ROOMS

Each a feast of colour, the 204 Standard rooms of 32 m2 situated at the heart of the resort are located in the Palm Beach and Long Beach wings of the main building. 92 of them are communicating and thus particularly suitable for families.

150 have a sofa-bed for two children under 12 years of age or one adult. Comfortable and functional, all have a furnished balcony or terrace and open on the garden.

VILLA STANDARD ROOM

There are 43 Villas housing three guest-rooms each: two communicating Standard rooms of 32 m2 each on the ground-floor and one Superior room on the upper floor.

Laid out in an arc in the gardens of the huge estate, fronting the splendid Long Beach, the Villas offer greater privacy.

With their original, colourful décor, the rooms are very luminous. They have a furnished terrace and open directly into the garden and on the beaches.

VILLA SUPERIOR ROOM

The Superior rooms, of 40 m2 each, are located on the upper floor of the Villas. Some distance from the main building, they offer both calm and privacy.

More spacious and luminous and just as sparkling in colour and décor, they offer a splendid view on the garden and the Indian Ocean and lie but a few steps from the beach.

The Restaurant

The kaleidoscope of colour continues down the dramatic circular staircase into the restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet-style every day. Breakfast caters for the traditional as well as the more exotic taste, and there is also an à la carte luncheon menu in addition to the buffet. Dinnertime is a case of around-the-world-in-eighty-minutes with the greatest buffet on the island, with taste sensations and specialities from every corner of the globe, including the fascinating and delicious local cuisine.

Pool Side

Pool Side offers hot and cold snacks and desserts for those who are happy to laze the day away next to the pool from ten o'clock each day. Salads, sandwiches, wood fire pizzas and grillades are served from 12h30 to 17h00. During summer, weather permitting, there is a weekly Coconight presented complete with a show.

Le Boathouse Bar & Grill

Overlooking the beautiful bay of Belle Mare, nestling in the casuarina trees close to the watersport centre you'll find Le Boathouse. This is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. Seafood and grillades are the specialities of this picturesque and secluded restaurant.

In its ambience of wood, thatch and parquet flooring and its dominant accents of turquoise and lapis lazuli, the Boat House, with its airy interior and teak terrace, is the ideal place for romantic lunches or dinners lulled by the gentle lapping of the waves.

Water Sports

Le Coco Beach’s splendid coves and limpid sea lend themselves naturally to the enjoyment of many water sports. The resort’s two nautical centres propose a whole range of facilities and activities to suit all tastes and ages.

Kayaks, funboat, water-skiing or windsurfs for gliding on the surface of the sea; glass-bottom-boat trips, snorkelling or scuba-diving for exploring the scenery and life underneath it.

Ski Diving

With three beaches, as many emerald coves, and the hospitable, crystal-clear sea stretching to the protective barrier-reef in the distance, all it takes to explore the splendid underwater scenery that starts just a few feet away, with its coral formations and multicoloured fishes, is a mask and tuba, available free of charge.

Professional instructors are also on hand to teach beginners the basics of scuba-diving in the swimming-pool before taking them to explore greater depths in the sea.

Entertainment

Dynamic and vital best describe the nightlife at Le Coco Beach. Centred mainly at the discotheque, groovers from six to sixty can join in the fun on the dance-floor every night, preceded by a great variety of cabarets: Afro Jazz Dance, Coco Night, Coco Fantaisie, Francofolies, Hollywood, Indian show, Cocaramba, Juke Box, Brésil Carnaval, MMT Africa, Sultan's Night, Zenfant des Iles. There's also sega initiation, Coco Bingo, Pareos and Coco Shop fashion show, award ceremonies and sari demonstrations.

Indoor Games

Le Cirque Bar is a hive of activity all day, and there's plenty for you to choose from backgammon, bingo, cards, chess, dominos, Karaoke, Monopoly, Pictionary, Scrabble or Trivial Pursuit. There's also a billiard table, lots of electronic/video games and pinball machines. Every member of the family can try their hand at the most exciting game of all - an air hockey machine!
