The Hotel Bougainville is located at Trou d’Eau Douce on the eastern coast of Mauritius, at 45 minutes from the airport, at 45 minutes from the capital Port-Louis and at 10 minutes by boat from Ile aux Cerfs (shuttles available from the hotel).

It comprises of huge white sandy beach drenched by a sea with infinite shades of blue, the swinging of the branches of filaos, the elegant silhouette of an island on the horizon… this small charming hotel has its buildings spread in an haven of green and intimacy.

The 50 rooms, with the charming decorations, all have a private terrace with garden furniture. They are distributed in small ochre painted buildings, spread amidst the filaos and the bougainvilleas. The restaurant La Licorne accommodates 110 covers by the sea. The bars of the restaurant propose delicious exotic cocktails, often rum aromatised.

Breakfast is served as a buffet from 7h00 to 10h30. Lunch « à la carte » is served from midday to 15h00. A fast food service is also available up to 17h00. Dinner, 19h00 to 22h00, is made up of theme buffets or of a « table d’hôte » formula.

Leisure activities includes swimming pool, pedal boats, kayak,snorkelling, table tennis, bowls, beach volley, billiard, hiring of bicycle, Spa massage room and theraphy, Scuba diving, water skiing, windsurfing (At hotel Ambre with a supplement), at Trou d’Eau Douce : deep sea fishing.

The hotel has a shop opened everyday from 08h30 to 12h30 and from 16h30 to 20h30. It offers beach wear, local handicraft, magazines, postcards and stamps.
