THE MAGELLAN SUTERA
An outlet for every taste is what The Magellan Sutera's four outlets offer. From the fine dining at Ferdinand's to the open air, casual dining of Al Fresco, an elaborate buffet at Five Sails or simply relax with a cocktail in Tarik's Lounge.
FERDINAND'S (Italian)
The Magellan Sutera's top fine-dining restaurant, Ferdinand's, is award winning
(most recently Sabah Tourism's Award for Best Restaurant 2007) for not only it's
outstanding Italian menu, but also the world renowned service.
The delectable Italian and fusion menu is complemented by a wide range of carefully selected wines.
AL FRESCO (Mediterranean)
Located adjacent the pool at The Magellan Sutera, Al Fresco has a unique vantage
point with sweeping views of the islands dotting the horison. Even with
magnificent views and sunsets the comprehensive Mediterranean menu cannot be
overshadowed. An extensive selection of pasta, seafood dishes and famous
wood-fired pizzas, are supported by a lively cocktail menu.
FIVE SAILS
Five Sails is The Magellan Sutera's buffet restaurant serving a sumptuous
selection of breakfast and themed dinner buffets. On Sundays Five Sails also
offers a Sunday brunch, an elaborate spread of the finest cuisine.
TARIK LOBBY LOUNGE
At the end of the expansive lobby of The Magellan Sutera, where the view of the
pool, the South China Sea and the islands on the horison melts together, lies
Tarik's Lobby Lounge. An open-air lounge with laid-back vibes, perfect for a
coffee during the day or a sunset cocktail at night. Featuring alcoholic and
non-alcoholic beverages, a snack menu and nightly entertainment.
THE PACIFIC SUTERA
The Pacific Sutera feature five dining and pub outlets ranging from casual to all-day, poolside and elegant down to exciting and lively.
SILK GARDEN (Chinese)
Silk Garden serves only the best in Chinese cuisine and specialises Sichuan
dishes. Located next to the tranquil gardens of The Pacific Sutera on the one
side with sweeping views on the other, dining at Silk Garden is a memorable
experience.
CAFE BOLEH
Cafe Boleh is Sutera Harbour Resort's only 24-hour restaurant and serves an a la
carte menu all day. It's also famous for elaborate buffets come breakfast and
dinner, but the legendary stuff happens on weekends, during the Weekend High
Tea.
LOBBY LOUNGE
The Pacific Lobby Lounge has a elegant and laid back atmosphere with ceiling to
floor windows overlooking the gardens and the sea with the islands on the
horizon beyond. Order a coffee or a sunset cocktail and enjoy the soothing
sounds of the live band.
JUGs
JUGs is Kota Kinabalu's premier fun pub and bar. Featuring two lively DJs, big
screen TV for sports events and your favourite tipple from behind the bar. Every
Friday and Saturday night is Ladies's Night with house-pouring brands on the
house, all night long for the ladies.
WAVES POOL BAR
Perched on the edge of the South China Sea overlooking the islands of the nearby marine park, lies Waves Pool Bar. Sunken into the pool at The Pacific Sutera, Waves Pool Bar offers a swim-up bar and pool-side seating and serves a wide range of beverages and local and international delicacies.
