Damai laut Golf & Country Club
The award winning 18-hole par 72 championship buggy-tracked golf course is cast against a tropical landscape with nine holes overlooking the Straits of Malacca and the other nine the estuaries of the Dinding River. It was awarded the Best Resort Course in Malaysia, 2nd Most Scenic Hole (Signature Hole #15 in Malaysia) and the 3rd Most Scenic Course in Malaysia by Golf Malaysia BI Annual Reader’s Poll 2005/2006. Its inherent beauty, often bolstered by the presence of native trees, winding fairways and lakes makes Damai Laut Golf & Country Club one of the most exciting and outstanding golf courses in the country. Adding on to the beauty of this award-winning golf course is the
newly set-up Rest Hut which enables the golfers to unwind and have a drink or two while sharing thrills on their games. This Rest Hut can hosts a maximum number of 12 pax.
Coupled with descending fairways, high trees and side hill lies, one can imagine the diversity of shots needed to cope on the course, which measures about 6,255 meters in total. Designed by American golfer and course designer Ronald Fream who remarked, "Every hole has an individual character while every green is designed to enhance the breathtaking view of the resort", there is no doubt that Damai Laut Golf & Country Club is truly a golfer’s paradise.
The Pro shop, housed within the clubhouse offers golf accessories and merchandise to suit the most avid golfer. Golf equipments are also available for rental. The club also hosts regular tournaments and a variety of golfing packages all year through. The current term membership, Damai Card offers unlimited golfing, affiliation with other clubs across the country, golfers insurance and special discounts on food and room nights at any Swiss-Garden International properties in Malaysia.
