The southern gate to China, Guangzhou, is the capital city of Guangdong Province and the largest city in Southern China. It has an area of 4,300 square kilometre and a population of over 5 milion. Guangzhou lies just within the tropics and no doubt its climate contributes much to the city's atmosphere-a contrasting landscape of greenery parks and trees, mingled with old temples, sprawling factories, cowded back streets and new buildings on main boulevards.

A visit to a kindergarten to see the daily life of innocent children playing, singing and dancing.

Terracotta Warriors & Horses - Exhibition from Xian, articles found buried in the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty ( 221-206 B.C. ) whom, to his subjects, was a tyrant.

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen's Memorial Hall-Built in 1931 with funds donated by patriotic Overseas Chinese and local people, this beautiful memorial theatre is used for rallies and cultural performances. Its capacity houses 4,700 seats.

Temple of the Six Banyan Trees-This Buddhist Temple was named after the banyan trees that once flourished in the courtyard in the 12th century. An octagonal Flower Pagoda restored after fire in 1097 now stands upright besides it.
