George & Co., one of the most popular chillout venues in Causeway Bay, has just reopened in a new more expansive format at The Park Lane Hotel. With double the original floor area, the recreated George & Co. has a stylish Victorian loft-living feel, a newly extended drinks list and foods menu made possible by the new facilities, and new options for entertainment and relaxation.

Responding to popular demand from a loyal clientele, George & Co. retains the original oval bar, but with welcoming additions all round. The barrel-vaulted ceilings, Victorian encaustic tiles, bare-faced red brickwork and dark timber transport guests to the chic ambience of a renovated warehouse venue in Manhattan or Covent Garden. The extension allows for an elegant open-air terrace and an arched entrance directly from Gloucester Road. The new entertainment stage has a floor-to-ceiling up lit artglass panel backdrop, complementing a new purpose-designed buffet counter in uplit alabaster. The whole design is fashionable but comfortable, intimate and warm.

The food menu has wider choices of bar snacks and light meals, from Asian delights to Western staples, whether burgers, Buffalo wings, or pasta as well as a lunch buffet 7 days a week. Popular local singer Sabrina will entertain patrons Monday to Saturday with her medleys of oldies and English and Chinese popular numbers.
