The Canyon Course is quite simply a masterpiece of design, with daunting natural hazards to challenge golfers of all levels. Many new golf courses in Asia are little more than man-made reconstructions of the environment -- but not Blue Canyon. With his creation, Mr. Kato went to great extremes to ensure that the course fit the natural habitat. In fact, only 250,000 cubic meters of earth was moved at the Canyon Course, against an average for most modern courses of 2 to 3 million.

When Yoshikazu Kato designed The Lakes Course, he could have easily been working to Leonardo da Vinci's quote. As it's name suggests, the Lakes Course offers a whole new challenge to the game of golf with water hazards on 17 out of 18 holes. The Lakes 18 holes weave their way around rambling lakes, natural canyons, and lush woodlands, a tribute to Kato's mission to maintain the integrity of the natural habitat. The course features some of the largest greens in Southeast Asia. Given the challenge of the course and the magnificent natural backdrop, the lakes course offers one of the top golfing experiences in the region.
