Borubudur International Golf and Country Club is located in the middle of Magelang city, in the slope of mount Tidar to be exact, with cool and fresh weather and beautiful scenery. BIGCC is about 40 km from Yogyakarta and 60 km from Semarang. It was designed by Nick Faldo and expert personels from PT Jababeka Golf Cikarang. In August 2006, this golf course which had been PGT was renovated. On April 14, 2007, KASAD R.I. General Djoko Santoso officially declared the golf course open with a new name BIGCC - Borobudur International Golf & Country Club. The name BIGCC Magelang officially was declared by Minister of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik on June 2, 2007.
