| Although I booked the deluxe room for 2 nights because the family room was not available online, they managed to have one available when I checked in at 10+. I topped up the difference and was able to check in immediately. Realised then that I had to request for room with bathtub if I had wanted one - seemed that they had rooms with and without bathtub. Also had to make request for child bathrobe so that we could take a dip at the swiiming pool next door at Hard Rock Hotel.
Requested for late checkout and was allowd to do so at 1pm. However, experience was bad because was told to pay for breakfast which was included in my booking and which I did not order. They wanted me to sign on a bill for that but when I pointed out that there must have been a mistake and the room on the bill was not mine, they muttered something about checking and contacting me later if there is discrepancy.
Room is not very big but loft bed was a hit with the children. View was balcony was 'green' and this is better than the ones facing the pool. There was also a towel rack on the balcony and we could dry our wet clothes there.
Towels in bathroom were hung very low down - good for kids but not good for adults who have to bend down to wipe hands.
Sentosa passes were given to us so that we could use the monorail. Complimentary parking tickets were also given but car prk was huge with no clear signs to park below the hotel - ended up below Hard Rock Hotel and had to walk a short distance to Festive. |
