The St. George in Luxor has 224 rooms and suites. All rooms have remote control televisions, individual climate control, electronic door locks, radios, in house videos, hair dryers, well stocked mini bars, direct dial telephones with modem ports, and safety deposit boxes.

There are also corporate rooms with fax machines. As noted, some of the rooms also have advanced amenities such as whirlpool bath tubs and other luxury facilities.

Restaurant

Serapis is the main dining room, overlooking the Nile and hotel pool, serving breakfast buffet of International and Japanese selections, and dinner buffet with theme nights. Beban is the a la carte restaurant, overlooking the Nile and hotel pool, serving Italian specialities. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Alla El Dien restaurant is an Egyptian dinner served in a fairytale palace full of characters out of the 1001 Arabian Night’s (programme includes oriental dancer and Arabian music). The Miyako restaurant is the only authentic Japanese restaurant in Upper Egypt (at lobby level). Nobles is an English pub offering a grand view over the Nile to the lush green farmland on the far shore, and Lotus café is located by the hotel entrance serving, light snack menu, ice cream, French pastries, fresh juices, tea and coffee.

Facilities

Outdoor heated swimming pool with separate children section, aerobic classes, weekly activity program, fully-equipped health and fitness centre offering free weights, exercise and strength-training machines, massage, other activities, trips and competitions.

There is 24-hour room service, bank, laundry, valet, message service, baby-sitting service (upon request), travel agency, money exchange and money withdrawal machines. Fully-equipped meeting and function space, including a 600-square meter ballroom with panoramic views of the Nile, which can accommodate up to 600 people theatre style.
